במהלך הפגנות שנערכו ביום שישי האחרון בצומת הכניסה לאום אל-פחם, במחאה על אוזלת ידה של המשטרה במיגור הפשיעה במגזר הערבי, התעמתו מאות מפגינים עם כוחות המשטרה במקום ואף נרשמו אירועים של ידוי אבנים לעבר כוחות השיטור.

During demonstrations last Friday at the Umm al-Fahm entrance junction , in protest of the police's inability to eradicate crime in the Arab sector, hundreds of protesters clashed with local police and even threw stones at police forces.

His conviction for offenses of incitement to racism relates to three lessons delivered in the period May-July 2015 in which he presented to his listeners content and ideas of a distinctly racist and anti-Semitic nature.  In one case, the defendant said that the Holocaust of the Jews occurred due to their corruption and because they prepared "special bread" for Passover by abducting children, placing them in a barrel full of needles and preparing the bread using their blood.

הוחמר עונשו של השייח' עומר אבו סארה שהורשע בהסתה כנגד יהודים – ישראל ניוז Israel News

בית המשפט המחוזי בירושלים החמיר את עונשו של השייח' עומר אבו סארא שקרא לשחוט יהודים. אבו סארא שהורשע בעבירות הסתה נידון לשמונה חודשי מאסר בבית משפט השלום, ובית המשפט המחוזי קיבל את ערעור המדינה וגזר עליו 14 חודשי מאסר בפועל.

אבו סארא הורשע בעקבות נאום שנשא בהר הבית נגד יהודים. השופטים ציינו בפסיקתם כי מדובר בעונש הרתעתי למי שיחשוב ללכת בדרכו של השייח'.

מארגון חוננו, אשר עו"ד חור ניזרי הגיש בשמו את התלונה שהובילה למעצר והגשת כתב אישום כנגד השייח אבו סארא נמסר בתגובה: "אנו מברכים על ההחמרה בעונשו של השייח המסית, אך אנו מצפים כי טיפול במסיתים מוסלמים המגבים פיגועים כנגד יהודים ומעודדים אותם, יעשה בידי הרשויות. לא יתכן כי כנגד קטינים יהודים מופעלת יד ברזל הכוללת אמצעים מנהליים קשים, בעוד שמוסלמים מסיתים באופן חופשי לרצח יהודים".

The Jerusalem District Court has increased the sentence of Sheikh Omar Abu Sara, who called for the slaughter of Jews.  Abu Sara, who was convicted of incitement offenses, was sentenced to eight months in prison by the Magistrates' Court, and the district court granted the state's appeal and sentenced him to 14 months in prison.

Abu Sara was convicted following a speech he delivered on the Temple Mount against Jews.  The judges noted in their ruling that this is a deterrent punishment for anyone who thinks of following the sheikh's path.

The Honno organization, on whose behalf Adv. Hur Nizri filed the complaint that led to the arrest and filing of an indictment against Sheikh Abu Sara, responded:  In the hands of the authorities.  It is not possible that an iron fist is used against Jewish minors that includes harsh administrative measures, while Muslims are freely inciting the murder of Jews. "

Ramadan series ‘Khaybar’ is a battle cry against Jews

Arab TV satellite channels are airing a series this year called Khaybar, referring to the Muslim massacre of the Jews of the town of that name in northwestern Arabia in 628 CE.

After the attack, some Muslims, including Muhammad, took surviving women as wives.

The Muslim conquerors charged the Jews a 50 percent tax on their crops and in 637, after Muhammad’s death, the Caliph Omar expelled the remaining Jews from Khaybar.

In Islamic tradition, the chant “Khaybar Khaybar, ya yahud, Jaish Muhammad, sa yahud,” which means, “Jews, remember Khaybar, the army of Muhammad is returning,” is used as a battle cry when attacking Jews or Israelis.
